I simply love Yorkshire and its magnificent scenery. Every season Yorkshire has something magical to offer. There's nothing better than getting my hiking boots on and disappearing into Yorkshire's superb countryside! I take my camera everywhere with me to ensure others can appreciate the many beautiful things that I see on my breathtaking walks. My photography has been featured on ITV Calendar, BBC Look North and has been published in The Yorkshire Ridings Magazine, The Yorkshire Dalesman, Country Walking Magazine and Countryfile magazine. Some of my images have been transformed into beautiful paintings by Yorkshire artists. At the end of 2013 I was selected to be the Face of Ordnance Survey. York Print Company favours Yorkshire Images

York Minster must have been photographed countless times by the locals and tourists alike so when John Maughan of York Print Company contacted me to ask if he could use my night-time image of the famous minster that appeared on my Twitter page: @Yorkshireimages in order to produce a canvas print, the answer had to be 'yes!'



York Print Company offers a high bespoke printing service, an on-line shop, free advice and much more, all at competitive rates, so of course I gave John permission to go ahead with the printing and took the opportunity to see the various stages of how the canvas print was to be produced.
The images below show the stages of my photograph being transformed into a fabulous 18" x 18" canvas.
