The weatherman said it would snow this afternoon, and he was right!
Being a big fan of the snow I decided to go for a stroll along the fly line from Garforth to Aberford in Leeds. This is a very popular route for dog walkers, runners and cyclists. The track is around three miles long and takes you through some beautiful woodland.
The woods provide a little shelter from the biting wind.
This is a lovely route in any weather but an inch or two of snow seems to make it look that little more picturesque!
My son striding on ahead down the snow covered fly line!
A simple five bar gate leading to the Parlington Estate looks so much more appealing in the snow!
Tree symmetry in snow.
