Otley Cycle Races is an annual Yorkshire cycling event which this year consisted of five events;
- The Nuflex Muscles & Joints Gels Otley Women's GP
- The Triton Construction Super Prestige Youth Race (for under 16s)
- The WGC Landscapes Lads and Lasses Otley Bike Race (for under 14s)
- The Chevin Cycles Classic Race
- The 2013 MAS Design Consultants Otley GP
The race circuit is a mile and a half long with a steep climb up Burras Lane shortly after the start line. Riders hit speeds of up to 50 mph as they descend the downhill section of Gay Lane.
The event attracts cyclists from up and down the country along with a huge number of spectators who simply want to enjoy watching this prestigious evening in the pretty market town of Otley.
